The advantages of STRATOS^® fiber ropes are numerous. Lighter weight, more ergonomic working, and shorter assembly times result in an increase in productivity and economy of timber harvesting. Extensive research and our specialist expertise allow us to provide our customers with excellent and modern innovations in rope technology. 

For the core of our STRATOS^® fiber ropes for logging we use the High-Tech fiber Dyneema^® from DSM. Dyneema^® is a high strength polyethylene fiber with a tensile strength that is 15-times higher than steel of the same weight. 

Advantages of STRATOS^® fiber ropes for logging:        

• Less weight: STRATOS^® is around 80% lighter than a comparable steel wire rope. STRATOS^® Extension, for example, can easily be carried by only one person and prepared for assembling. With steel ropes– at least three persons are required.
• Moore wood: due to a substantial reduction in weight several work steps can be made at the same time. A clear win of productivity is coming up.
  
• Ergonomic work: The reduction in weight means that considerablyless load is exerted on the body, especially on the spinal discs. Physical injury (e.g. by protruding steel wires), physical stress and fatigue are markedly reduced, and your workforce’s productivity is raised.
