Similar to the size press the coater section is very demanding for the rope. Aggressive chemicals and extreme heat (e.g. infrared dryer) in very long rope runs lead to a maximum stress on the ropes. Depending on the speed of the paper machine and the paper grade we recommend our special ropes Extreme^® XG, Protector^® XG or SuperGrip^® XG. The yarns of these ropes are protected by a strong net of monofilament. The product innovations Extreme^® HT and Protector^® HT show an excellence performance of traction and fulfill even the highest demands.

Extreme^® HT or Protector^® HT: Depending on the paper grade we recommend our special rope type Extreme^® HT or Protector^® HT. Some multifunctional fibers are added to the strong net of monofilaments which effectively prevents rope slippage in the rope drive sheave.  We recommend the use of Extreme^® HT for heavy paper grades and Protector^® HT for light and medium paper grades.
